saturday before classes start is when we have done it before. usually start late morning to noon sometime. as far as grilling, i dunno it could work out well if we do it right. would be a good thing to put on flyers if we can get stuff figured out in time to get the flyers up early enough or even start advertising the cookout during orientation sessions.

yeah, it would be best if we could do a good job advertising how much that would cost ahead of time so people can know to have money with or just not be taken by suprise when we start asking for money for it.

but those are details to be worked out yet....i think its a good idea so long as the new people are cool with sitting around for an hour or so waitin for charcoal and whatever. im game with that, guess all we can do is try it and see what people think about it.

making up a survey to hand out at the end or during the cookout for people to fill out and then we can collect it to get feedback would be a really good idea i think (nate was this your idea at the end of last year i think??)

i dunno just some ideas, what all do the rest of ya think?

ya a cookout would be a good idea...maby sell meal "tickets" in the lot before we got out wheeling (I think we have a roll of raffle tickets somewhere)...maby even do a 50/50 raffle? but any way if we sell meal tickets before me go out we could have someone go buy the food and sh*t with that money and we would have a head count of whos getting food so we wont waste a lot of club money buying way to much food. pick a picknic location with some rocks or something maby we could watch the built rigs play around one them and get some good video whail we wait for food.

yah im gona work one a survey and a flyer with club meeting times, by laws, officer contact info and sh*t. we need to get more information out, and get more feed back to how our recruitment it actually going.

Raffle tickets would be a good idea, but will you guys still have them by the end of the wheeling excursion?

who know where we could be going!!! It could dry up in the next 6 weeks then where do we go!!! i dont have the internet at home so i only get on once a week if im lucky!!! But i dont care where we go and i do like the idea of a cook out in the woods but u have to remember someone is most likely going to loss time wheeling if we do a cook out in the middle of woods and a rig has to carry all the food and grills out to the spot!!

If we make the grilling/eating spot fairly easy to get to i could probably haul out the grillls, tables, and what not.
Just remember boys, i have to drive 300+ miles home, so nothing to hard to get too!!!
